ZEE5 Global, after the success of Churails, is coming up with a Zindagi original titled Ek Jhoothi Love Story. Written by Umera Ahmed (who was also behind the famous show Zindagi Gulzar Hai) and helmed by director Mehreen Jabbar, Ek Jhoothi Love Story stars Pakistani actor Bilal Abbas Khan alongside Madiha Imam.
Ek Jhoothi Love Story revolves around Salma and Sohail, their quest for love and an ideal partner. It promises to be a light-hearted family drama with quirky characters and a fascinating exploration of different kinds of relationships and the path they carve along the way. It hopes to resonate well with a generation that aspires to settle for nothing less than an ideal partner and a perfect life.
