YSRCP’s electoral prospects have been a hot topic lately, especially with the latest survey results in. In the previous election, KK Survey correctly forecasted that YSRCP would clinch over 140 seats, despite skepticism from many quarters. This time around, their district-wise surveys indicate a different narrative, suggesting that the TDP alliance might be in the lead.
The survey predicts that out of the 175 seats, the TDP alliance could secure 97 seats, leaving YSRCP with just 23. This leaves a close contest for the remaining 55 seats. Even if the alliance loses all 55, the survey suggests they could still come out on top. This marks a significant departure from the 2019 elections when Jagan secured a substantial majority.
The CEO of KK Survey even goes as far as to suggest that Jagan might not even make it to the top 10 in terms of majority this time around. Meanwhile, election officials are gearing up for the vote count scheduled for June 4th. The results for the Visakhapatnam West Assembly segment are expected to be the first to come out due to fewer polled voters and fewer counting rounds. However, the results for the Bheemili Assembly segment might take longer due to the higher number of polled voters and rounds required for counting.
With the survey results indicating a potential shift in power dynamics, all eyes are on the upcoming election results. It remains to be seen how accurate these predictions will be and what implications they might have on the political landscape of the state.
