The recent release of a film titled Vivekam, depicting the tragic murder of YS Vivekananda Reddy, has stirred controversy. The film, available on YouTube, chronicles the events leading up to the murder, prompting complaints from YSR Congress leaders to the Election Commission. They argue that the portrayal implicates Jagan, Bharathi, and Avinash in the Viveka murder case.
Adding to the intrigue, YS Sunitha, the primary victim of the Viveka saga, has shared her thoughts on the film. Sunitha disclosed that she watched the film and was struck by its detailed and realistic presentation. Unsure whether to classify it as a documentary or a film, she commended the creators for fearlessly depicting the gruesome incident. However, what’s shocking is that she said that the brutality shown in the movie is lesser than what really happened. ‘The real-life incidents leading to my father’s murder were much worse,’ Sunitha added.
Sunitha admitted to feeling scared while watching the film and revealed that she mostly closed her eyes during the last 30 minutes due to the graphic depiction of violence and agony.
Despite criticism that the film portrays Viveka’s murder in a brutal manner, Sunitha’s assertion that reality was even worse has shocked viewers. Many are left wondering about the extent of the horrors witnessed in real life, especially considering this revelation from Viveka’s own daughter.
