YS Sharmila slams Jagan over Prabhas link rumors
YS Sharmila, a political leader in Andhra Pradesh and sister of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has raised serious allegations against her brother. During a press conference on Friday, Sharmila accused Jagan of orchestrating false rumors about her personal life particularly linking her with popular actor Prabhas.
For over a decade, rumors suggesting a relationship between Sharmila and Prabhas have circulated on social media. Addressing these claims, Sharmila strongly denied having any connection with the actor, stating, “I don’t know who Prabhas is nor have I ever met him.” She revealed that she had even sworn on her children five years ago while filing a complaint to clarify the truth.

Sharmila accused Jagan’s social media supporters of being responsible for spreading these baseless claims. She alleged that these false narratives were part of a larger strategy to tarnish her reputation and generate sympathy for Jagan’s political agenda. Sharmila questioned why, despite being in power for five years, Jagan failed to act against those propagating these rumors.
“Why hasn’t an inquiry been initiated? Is this what governance means?” she asked, challenging her brother to address the actions of his party’s supporters. She also alleged that videos involving her were manipulated by Jagan’s media machinery to defame her further.
