With the Praja Sankalpa Yatra coming to a close, there is anticipation in the air in the political circles about the possibility of YS Jagan announcing the party candidates for the upcoming elections. With elections knocking the door, Jagan is expecting that the Election Commission might issue a notification in the second or the last week of February.
Instead of wasting time, Jagan wants to announce the candidates in advance so that they get adequate time to campaign. They can also iron out ticklish issues and reach out to the people without any hitches.
Interestingly, even the TDP is planning to release the names of its candidates in January. Chandrababu is expected to announce at least 100 names. So, both the parties will declare their respective teams ahead of the election notification.
