Constituency YCP leaders have given a strong message to their party’s top leaders. They warned that if Minister Roja is given the Nagari MLA ticket, the party might lose.
At a press conference held on Tuesday at the Tirupati Press Club, Vadamalapet ZPTC Muralidhara Reddy and other YCP leaders expressed their concerns.
Vadamalapet ZPTC Muralidhara Reddy, along with YCP leaders from the constituency, including Reddyvari Bhaskara Reddy, Elumalai, Ravi, Shekhar Raju, Vasudeva Reddy, Munindra, Lakshmipati Raju, Sreedhar Raju, Subrahmanyam, and others, stated that they had worked hard to secure Roja’s victory in the last election.
They said that Roja, who once used to call them five siblings, is now causing distress among her supporters. The leaders claimed that Roja, who became an MLA in March 2014 after overcoming past setbacks, has neglected their efforts and the sentiments of the people in Nagari. The local community seems to have a negative view of her.
The YCP leaders urged the party leadership to consider the cadre’s appeal and give the MLA ticket to someone else. They believe this decision would yield positive results. The leaders issued a warning, stating that if Roja is nominated, they might face defeat. Minister Roja, who has been accusing them, was challenged to an open discussion.
