Kannada actor Yash’s much-touted big ticket film KGF release coincided with Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero. While Anand Rai’s Zero had a more number of screens alloted than Prashanth Neel film, but the latter emerged as victorious at the opening weekend. KGF earned Rs 59.61 crore with its total opening weekend collections whereas Zero minted Rs 59.07 crore.
It is worth mentioning that Bollywood Baadshah SRK praised Yash’s KGF trailer ahead of films’ release. The actor said, “I have heard from people saying good things about the film and the team has worked three years on the project. I wish them all the best.” The film KGF is based on Kolar Gold Fields in Karnataka which showcases Yash wanting to conquer the continents and gold mines. The film all set for release in five languages stars Srinidhi Shetty, Ramya Krishna, Ananth Nag, John Kokken, Achyuth Rao. The film is made in two parts will release first part on December 21 titled KGF Chapter 1.
