Chiyo Miyako, the world’s oldest person dies at age of 117. Born on May 2, 1901, she was declared as the world’s oldest person by the Guinness World Records in the month of April. Her family members described her as the talkative and most benevolent person and liked sushi and eels as her favourites.

Miyako also toured many places as her husband, Shoji, worked in the Railways. Now, the Guinness World Records have to identify another oldest member in the world and is being said that Masazo Nonaka could be conferred. Nonaka recently celebrated his 113th birthday in Japan.
Meanwhile, the record for the oldest ever in the world goes to Jeanne Louise Calment from France who was aged 122 at the time of her death in 1997.
