The world’s “most expensive” pair of shoes worth Rs 123 crores goes on sale. The custom-made shoes made of diamonds, gold and took over nine months for the creation. Jada Dubai, a UAE based company in collaboration with Passion Jewellers, the Passion Diamond shoe has made this luxury shoe piece. The cost is 62.4 million dirham ($17 million) which converts into a whopping Rs 123 crores.
The shoes have 15 carats diamonds each on the front, and 236 diamonds are placed all over the shoes. “We had to prototype many shoes in Italy in order to find the perfect shape, perfect heel and the perfect colour. Even inside, the logos of both companies are made of gold, which is very thin, so it will be very comfortable for walking,” said Maria Majari, co-founder and creative director of Jada Dubai.
Prior to this, UK designer Debbie Wingham’s high heels was considered the most expensive priced at $15.1 million (Rs 109 crore).
