The nominees for Oscar Awards are out and Suriya’s Jai Bhim did not get selected. But one Indian documentary named Writing with Fire has been nominated.
The Oscar Indian entry is about a few Dalit Women who run a newspaper. This documentary has won a lot of accolades and is the one hope for India in the Oscars.
A total of 276 movies titles competed to get shortlisted for the Best Film category at the 94th Academy Awards. Only 10 of them are shortlisted. The nominations across all 23 categories were announced by Tracee Ellis Ross and Leslie Jordan.
