Is Vangaveeti Radha making a mistake again? Radha, son of firebrand Kapu leader Vangaveeti Ranga, has been with the YSRCP for the past four years. But, he has now decided to ditch the party that gave him everything and is all set to join the TDP. Interestingly, he and his family have always held the TDP responsible for his father’s murder. But, now he has decided to join the very party that he blamed.
In fact, he was given an opportunity to contest as an MLA but he lost the elections. Yet, the party continued to re-nominate him again. This time too, the party has suggested that he contest for the Vijayawada east seat instead of Vijayawada Central assembly seat, where his winning chances are fewer.
Not only that all senior leaders of the party reached out to him and spoke to him. Even YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy personally spoke to him and tried to address his concerns. But, Radha refused to see reason and decided to quit the party. In fact, he did the same mistake during 2009, when he shifted to Praja Rajyam Party from the Congress. Late YSR personally spoke to him and told him that the Congress would come back to power and he would be made a minister. But, Radha took a wrong decision and joined the PRP, only to be defeated by Congress candidate Malladi Vishnu. Will history repeat this time too?
