Why Nayanthara stopped posting pictures with husband Vignesh Shivan ?

Nayanthara recently shared why she has stopped posting pictures with her husband, filmmaker Vignesh Shivan. Despite being active on Instagram, fans noticed that her posts with Vignesh have significantly decreased. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she explained the reasons behind this decision.

Nayanthara revealed that online hate and judgment are major factors influencing her choice. She expressed concerns about the negative comments directed at her and Vignesh whenever she shares their moments. “Everything good in my life right now is because of him, but if I praise him publicly, people criticize me,” she explained.

The actress shared how she avoids posting about Vignesh when they are together, preferring to focus on their private time. However, she sometimes shares pictures of him when they are apart, especially when she misses him. Unfortunately, even these occasional posts invite hateful comments questioning their relationship.

The negativity seems to stem from comparisons between Nayanthara’s established career and Vignesh’s. She mentioned that some people criticize her for marrying someone who hasn’t delivered back-to-back blockbuster films. “It’s unfair to compare us,” she said, adding that such judgments wouldn’t happen if their roles were reversed.

Nayanthara also highlighted the deeper issue of gender bias in these judgments. Despite Vignesh’s unwavering support, she feels constrained in expressing her admiration for him publicly.

The couple, parents to twin sons Uyir and Ulagam, have faced relentless scrutiny online. Despite this, their family moments shared by Vignesh exude warmth and love, inspiring fans with their strong bond.
