Superstar Mahesh Babu scored a massive blockbuster this year in the form of Maharshi. The extensive promotions by the makers as well as Mahesh have also helped the film big time to sustain in the theatres for a long time. We all know how makers made a Hungama for 50 days with several posts of #CelebratingMaharshi.
The makers wanted to organize a 50 days event but it was cancelled due to the sudden demise of Vijaya Nirmala. After that, Maharshi landed on Amazon Prime making it do dull business at the box office. Apparently, Mahesh is reportedly upset for releasing the film so soon on the digital media.

He hoped the film would continue to do well in theatres as no other film is having a great run now. But as per the agreement, Prime can release the film after 50 days and they have done the same. Now, there is no option left for the makers but to leave it and concentrate on future projects. Currently, Mahesh is busy in Kashmir shooting for his next Sarileru Neekevvaru.
