Why Fahadh Faasil didn’t fub in Malayalam for Pushpa 2?
Pushpa 2: The Rule, which premiered on December 5, has taken the box office by storm. Critics are applauding Allu Arjun’s stellar performance in the film. However, Fahadh Faasil’s fans are expressing disappointment, claiming the talented actor was underutilized in his role as the antagonist.
A surprising revelation has also surfaced about Fahadh’s involvement in the film. Reports suggest that he did not dub for his character, SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, in the Malayalam version. Some social media users speculate that Fahadh showed little interest in dubbing, while others believe that certain scenes were voiced by another artist. Another theory claims that a voice artist mimicking Fahadh’s voice was used for the dubbing.

Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 has become one of the biggest hits of the year. Despite its success, Fahadh’s fans are upset that his potential was not fully showcased. Many have urged him to reconsider taking supporting roles in non-Malayalam films.
Fahadh Faasil, a celebrated name in Mollywood, is known for his intense and realistic performances in films like Joji and Aavesham. He is often praised for his ability to convey complex emotions subtly through his expressions, particularly his eyes.
In Pushpa 2, Fahadh’s character, SP Shekhawat, seeks revenge against Pushpa (played by Allu Arjun) after being humiliated in the first film. The plot revolves around Pushpa’s efforts to expand his empire while facing powerful adversaries. The movie also features notable performances by Sunil, Sritej, Ajay, and Rao Ramesh, with Sreeleela making a special appearance in the song “Kissik.”
Interestingly, Shreyas Talpade dubbed for Allu Arjun in the Hindi version of the film. While Pushpa 2 continues to dominate the box office, the debate over Fahadh Faasil’s involvement in the Malayalam version remains a hot topic.
