When Samantha spoke about her past relationship with Siddharth

Samantha Ruth Prabhu has always been open about her life. While her divorce from Naga Chaitanya made headlines, not many remember her earlier relationship with actor Siddharth. Years ago, Samantha was reportedly dating Siddharth, her Jabardasth co-star. Their relationship however didn’t last long, and they are believed to have parted ways in 2015.

After the breakup, Samantha found love again with Naga Chaitanya. In an old interview, she spoke about how lucky she felt to have someone like Chaitanya by her side after experiencing a tough phase. Without naming Siddharth directly, she hinted at going through a rough time.

She said, “I would have fallen into such a crisis in my personal life just like actress Savithri. But thankfully very soon I realized it in the beginning and walked out of the relationship. This was when I sensed that it could end up badly. And then I’m blessed to have a person like Naga Chaitanya in my life. He’s a gem.”

While Samantha and Siddharth never revealed why they broke up, there were rumors that Siddharth wasn’t ready for marriage and was uncomfortable with Samantha’s friendships with her male co-stars. It was also said he had close ties with another actress, whom he reportedly helped in her career.

Despite the buzz, Samantha later defended Siddharth. She denied being cheated on and said that he was a “great guy.” She added that just because a relationship ends doesn’t mean one person is always at fault.
