In a candid interview with *Filmfare*, Samantha shared her struggles post-divorce. Reflecting on the challenging phase, she admitted she had moments of self-doubt but discovered a newfound strength. “I thought I would crumble and give up, but I surprised myself with my resilience,” she said. Samantha explained that she channeled her emotions into her work to navigate the pain of her personal loss.

The couple announced their separation through a joint statement in October 2021, emphasizing mutual respect and their intent to move forward individually. Samantha requested privacy during this time and thanked her fans for their unwavering support. Despite their split, she acknowledged the decade-long friendship they shared before their marriage.

Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya has moved on and is now married to actress Sobhita Dhulipala. The couple tied the knot on December 4, 2024, in a grand ceremony attended by prominent names from the South Indian film industry, including Ram Charan and SS Rajamouli.
