Rashmika Mandanna is one of the most popular actresses in the Indian film industry. In a throwback moment, she reacted to being called the “costliest actor” after reports claimed she had increased her fees for Pushpa 2.
During the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa last year, Rashmika addressed these rumors. Speaking to the media, she said, “I don’t agree with that at all, because that is not true.” Her response quickly went viral, grabbing the attention of fans and media.
Many reports suggested that Rashmika charged ₹10 crore for her role in Pushpa 2: The Rule, a massive jump from the ₹2 crore she reportedly earned for the first part. Following the success of Animal and Pushpa 2, she was rumored to be charging between ₹4 crore and ₹8 crore per film.
Apart from these projects, Financial Express reported that she received ₹5 crore for her role in Sikandar, starring Salman Khan. For her role as Maharani Yesubai Bhonsale in Chhaava, alongside Vicky Kaushal, she reportedly charged ₹4 crore. However, Rashmika and her team have not confirmed these numbers, leaving fans curious about her actual earnings.
Currently, Rashmika is enjoying the success of Sikandar and has several upcoming projects, including Thama with Ayushmann Khurrana and Kuberaa with Dhanush and Nagarjuna.
