When Naga Chaitanya spoke about his first kiss after marrying Samantha
Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu were one of the most loved couples in the film industry. Their on-screen chemistry in Ye Maaya Chesave won hearts, and their real-life romance led to marriage in 2017. However, their relationship ended in 2021, leaving fans disappointed.
In an old interview from 2017, Naga Chaitanya spoke about his first kiss. On the talk show No.1 Yaari With Rana, he revealed that his first kiss happened when he was in ninth grade. Laughing about it, he said, “That kiss worked out for the rest of my life.”
Chaitanya also shared an amusing fan interaction. While filming in Vijayawada, a fan commented that he was “fairer than Samantha.” The unexpected remark surprised him but remained a memorable experience.
After their separation, Samantha faced health challenges. She was diagnosed with myositis, an autoimmune disease. She took a break from acting to focus on her health. Her last project was the action series Citadel: Honey Bunny, alongside Varun Dhawan. She is set to return to Tollywood with Maa Inti Bangaram.
Meanwhile Naga Chaitanya moved on and married actress Sobhita Dhulipala. His recent film Thandel, co-starring Sai Pallavi, was a box-office hit. The film received praise for its music, cinematography and action sequences.
