Vamsi Paidipally’s Maharshi is gearing up May 9th release. Apart from Pooja Hegde, Allari Naresh, it also has Meenakshi Dixit who plays companion to Mahesh Babu. Not many know that Meenakshi had also shared screen space with Mahesh for a special number in Dookudu. But do you know that the actress issued an apology to Maharshi team and Mahesh Babu?
Meenakshi, on the first day of her shoot, got late. In fact, she broke down as she had lost her bad which consisted of the valuable stuff that made her reach the location late SUbeswntly she apologies to Mahesh and the team. But she added that Mahesh was quite easy and the team as well who understood her situation. She said, “My shot was ready, and Mahesh and everybody else was waiting for me. However, I had ended up losing my bag which contained a bunch of valuable stuff, including my make up. I tried frantically to look for it but to no avail. Subsequently, I broke down”.

“However, the crew very kindly came to the rescue and managed to trace the bag for me. I apologised to Mahesh Babu for the delay, but he seemed quite alright about it,” she adds.
Meenakshi is also thankful to director Vamsi who trusted in her. She says, “I was bedridden, so I had to explain my situation to director Vamshi Paidipally sir. He trusted me when I told him that I’ll manage to recover in time for the film’s first schedule. I took three weeks to recover. I was on a double dose of vitamins, drank lots of water, took long walks and practised yoga to accelerate my recovery”.
