When Kajal Aggarwal revealed why she never dated her co-stars
Kajal Aggarwal has been admired for her successful pairings with various lead actors. Despite her popularity, she has always maintained a professional distance with her co-stars. In a 2013 interview Kajal explained that she follows a personal rule never to cross boundaries with her male co-stars. She shared, “It’s natural, but I never cross the line with my co-stars. We can be cordial, but I don’t form close friendships with them.” She added that while she might invite a co-star for lunch if they visit Mumbai, that’s where it ends.
In the same interview, Kajal also opened up about her past relationships revealing that both her serious relationships were with people outside the film industry. However, she mentioned that her last relationship didn’t work out because she couldn’t dedicate enough time or energy to it due to her busy career.

Kajal also addressed the common belief that she is a “lucky charm” for her films as many of her projects have been successful. She admitted that she has indeed been fortunate in her career, never facing struggles like financial issues or difficulty landing roles. According to her, the only time she felt emotional was due to personal relationship problems, which made it challenging for her to perform emotional scenes in films, as she lacked real-life experiences to draw from.
Today Kajal is happily married to Gautam Kitchlu, and they have a son named Neil. She continues to work on several upcoming films, including Indian 3, Uma, Kannappa and Sikandar.
