Kajal Aggarwal has been a well-known name in the Indian film industry, balancing her personal and professional life with grace. However, she once shared the difficulties she faced in her career after getting married and becoming a mother. In a candid interview on Prema The Journalist YouTube channel, Kajal spoke about the challenges she experienced after her marriage to Gautam Kitchlu and the birth of their son, Neil.
She revealed that many film projects were taken away from her because she became a wife and mother. Kajal expressed disappointment over how the industry sometimes views a woman’s personal life as a limitation, even though her dedication and energy towards work remained the same. She emphasized that motherhood or marriage should not affect one’s career. In fact, she mentioned that at times, she had to sacrifice moments with her son to stay committed to her work.
Kajal also recalled instances where she was unfairly removed from projects simply because of her marital and parental status. However, she was positive about how this trend has reduced over time, as more filmmakers are beginning to accept and appreciate women who manage both family and work.
Despite these challenges, Kajal continues to thrive in her career. She is preparing for major releases, including Kamal Haasan’s Indian 3, Vishnu Manchu’s Kannappa, and Salman Khan’s Sikandar.
