After Garudavega, Dr Rajashekar was on a high. Kalki followed, the film wasn’t a great output but the actor’s garish makeup got him bad reviews. He was in talks with a number of directors to come up with an interesting story next and finally he zeroed in on Neelakanta. This film is a thriller and will be produced by Dr Rajshekar and his wife Jeevitha. Meanwhile Neelakanta tells the media that his name was never G Neelakanta Reddy and his screen name was always Neelakanta.
He further said that this is not his comeback film, in fact he never took a big break and is returning to cinema. He has always been in the industry and his last project was the Malayalam version of Queen. Just because his visibility in Telugu was a bit low, it cannot be said that he had taken a break.
