What scared Allu Arjun the most in Pushpa 2
Allu Arjun’s upcoming film Pushpa 2, directed by Sukumar, has already created a massive buzz. The film has set new records in Indian cinema but Arjun recently shared an experience that made him nervous during filming.
In an interview, Allu Arjun spoke about the Jathara sequence in Pushpa 2. He revealed that he initially felt scared when Sukumar asked him to wear a saree for the scene. The decision came right after a strong macho-themed photoshoot making it an unexpected transformation for him.
Arjun admitted that his first reaction was fear and hesitation. “I was told that I had to wear a saree, and I wasn’t sure if it would work,” he said. However as the team worked on sketches and mood boards, he started gaining confidence in the idea.
Despite the transformation, Arjun emphasized that his character’s strong presence had to remain. Sukumar wanted to ensure that even in a saree, Arjun retained his macho appeal. “Even if he’s dressed as a lady, the alpha-ness should not be lost,” Arjun explained.
Apart from Pushpa 2, Allu Arjun is working on a new project with director Trivikram Srinivas. Reports also suggest that he might collaborate with Atlee for a quick film.
