Small films have been adopting innovative promotional strategies to market themselves at the box office. The makers of the latest release at the box office ‘Rajayogam’ threw up a challenge to filmgoers. Individuals who can resist laughter watching the romcom ‘Rajayogam’ shall win prize money worth Rs 1 lakh. The makers announced this during the success meet recently.
Starring actors Sai Ronak, Ankitha Saha and Bismi Naas, ‘Rajayogam” hit the theatres on December 30. Speaking on the occasion, director Ram Ganapathi said the response from the audience was quite overwhelming. “‘We’re very happy to hear the positive response from filmgoers. Some have said that they have watched the film without taking their eyes off the screen. Our producers threw a challenge to film lovers. Whoever wishes to win the prize money should come out of the theatre without getting evoked by the comedy. Those who take up the challenge have to prove themselves in a proper manner to claim the reward,” he said.
Sai Ronak said he is elated by the response that is coming from movie lovers. “But my only concern is that good films have very little place. If there are no shows to play, how can the audiences watch them? I urge everyone to support good films like ‘Rajayogam’,” he added.
