Vishwambhara teaser receives negative reviews; Chiranjeevi brings in THIS director to resolve issues
The highly anticipated socio-fantasy film Vishwambhara was initially set to release in January 2025 during Sankranti. However, the release has been delayed, with the official reason being the release of Ram Charan’s Game Changer. While this explanation seems reasonable, rumors suggest that the real reason for the delay is related to problems with the VFX.
Insiders report that the visual effects have not met the high expectations of the production team. Since much of the movie depends on strong VFX, the makers have decided to resolve these issues before proceeding with the release. However, the film’s director, Vassishta, believes the VFX is satisfactory and has resisted the decision to rework it, leading to some behind-the-scenes tension.

Amid these challenges, actor Chiranjeevi is said to have approached director VV Vinayak for help. Vinayak, who has previously worked with Chiranjeevi on films like Tagore and Khaidi No. 150, has a long-standing connection with Vassishta. The two directors share a close bond, with Vassishta considering Vinayak as his mentor. This relationship has led to speculation that Chiranjeevi is using Vinayak’s expertise to help Vassishta navigate the VFX issues.
Vinayak is no stranger to assisting Chiranjeevi. He stepped in during the making of Stalin and is known for handling VFX-heavy films like Badrinath. With Vinayak’s guidance, the team hopes to resolve the technical difficulties. Now, they aim to release Vishwambhara on May 9, a significant date in Chiranjeevi’s career. Fans are hopeful that the film will live up to the high expectations.
