Telugu actor Vishnu Manchu’s highly anticipated film *Kannappa* has been postponed due to ongoing work on its visual effects. The makers officially announced this delay, stating that they need additional time to enhance a crucial sequence with extensive VFX.
Originally scheduled for release on April 25, *Kannappa* features a star-studded cast, including Mohanlal, Prabhas, Kajal Aggarwal, and Akshay Kumar, marking his Telugu debut. The production team assured fans that a new release date would be announced soon.
In an official statement, the filmmakers emphasized their commitment to delivering a high-quality cinematic experience. They acknowledged the audience’s anticipation and expressed gratitude for their patience. According to them, *Kannappa* is a tribute to one of Lord Shiva’s greatest devotees, and they aim to present it in the most extraordinary way possible.
Vishnu Manchu, who is also the film’s story and screenplay writer, reassured fans that the team is working tirelessly to meet expectations. Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, the mythological epic will be released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and English. The project is being produced under Manchu’s banners, AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory.
The delay may be disappointing for fans, but the makers are confident that the extra effort will make *Kannappa* a visual spectacle worth the wait.
