With a view to taking his upcoming film ‘Kannappa’ to the next level, actor Vishnu Manchu roped in internationally acclaimed stunt director Kecha Khamphakdee for the film.
It seems that Vishnu has designed Kannappa on an epic scale. The film features a compelling narrative of a warrior with unprecedented action sequences. It requires specific skill sets and Kecha was the perfect man for the job who could make everything fresh. .
A team of 80 skilled stuntmen and rig experts hailing from Thailand and Hong Kong have joined the shoot. The International stunt man has done films like Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017), Baaghi 2 (2018), Thuppakki (2012) and Ponniyin Selvan 1 (2022).
Starring Vishnu Manchu in the lead, Kannappa has Rebel Star Prabhas in key role. Other stars like Mohanlal and Kannada Superstar Shiva Rajkumar will play key roles.
Kannappa is based on the true story of Bhakta Kannappa, a devotee of Lord Shiva. The film’s story idea was given by Tanikella Bharani and written by Vishnu. The screenplay was written by Paruchuri Gopala Krishna, Thota Prasad, Sainath Thotapalli, and Sai Madhav Burra.
Vishnu Manchu’s father, Mohan Babu, produced the film Kannappa. The film is being produced under the banner of Ava Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory.
