At a time when showbiz is hard hit with the pandemic, some of the Kollywood stars have come forward to take a pay cut and help the producers and other workers. Kollywood star-actor Thalapathy Vijay is one the celebrated actors in Tamil industry. The latest buzz is that he has agreed to take a pay cut for his upcoming 65th film which will be directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sun Pictures. As per reports, the Master actor is getting paid Rs 100 crores and he has decided to slash his remuneration by 20 crores. However, an official work is awaited over the same.
Meanwhile, regarding the development a source has informed, “Sun Pictures didn’t discuss anything regarding his salary as of now. In fact, they don’t consider it as a criteria as they have been associated with him for a long time.” Coming back to the film, SS Thaman is likely to come on board while the makers are planning to cast Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead.
