Asuran also helped the director to reach out to Shah Rukh Khan and discuss a project with him. As of now, Vetrimaran has a line up of projects in Tamil and he is not in a mood to make a debut in Bollywood. The director’s next film is with comic actor Soori. The film’s shoot has begun already and there are some last-minute changes in the film.
As per the reports, Vijay Setupathi is on board to play a crucial role in the film. The duo was supposed to work in the film Vada Chennai but Vijay could not allocate the dates for the film. Now, in this untitled film, Vijay Setupathi will play the role that was originally signed up by Bharathi Raja. Bharathi Raja decided to opt-out of the project due to health concerns. Vetimaran immediately approached Vijay Setupathi who readily agreed to do the film. The film is based on Jeyamohan’s short story Thunaivan. The film has music by Ilaiyaraaja.
