Vijay Sethupathi vs Kamal Haasan: The Bigg Boss Tamil 8 host pay gap
Vijay Sethupathi has taken over from Kamal Haasan as the host of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8. Known for his previous hosting role in MasterChef Tamil, fans are excited to see him in this new role. Reports suggest that Sethupathi’s remuneration for hosting is significantly lower than that of Kamal Haasan. While Haasan earned around ₹130 crore, Sethupathi is being paid ₹60 crore, less than half.
The grand launch of Bigg Boss Tamil 8 is set for today, and promotional teasers show Sethupathi making a stylish entrance in a cream-colored suit. He promises fans an exciting new season, stating that both the contestants and the stage are ready for the big debut. Some anticipated contestants include Ravindar Chandrasekaran, Jeffrey, Muthu Kumaran, and Sunitha Gogoi.
The show will be available on Vijay TV and Disney+ Hotstar from October 6, 2024.
