In an exclusive conversation ahead of their upcoming release, Aadikeshava, Hero Panja Vaishnav Tej and director Srikanth Reddy opened up about the film, addressing comparisons and criticisms circulating on social media.
When asked about his approach to a completely commercial film, Vaishnav Tej acknowledged the memes and social media comparisons between Aadikeshava and Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya. He admitted receiving such memes from friends but emphasized the differences between the two projects. He said there is lot of difference between the both.
On the other hand, director Srikanth Reddy, while acknowledging the similarities drawn to Gali Janardhan Reddy’s demolition of Sunkulamma Temple, clarified the inspiration behind Aadikeshava. He shared that the narrative draws inspiration from the harsh reality of the Mica Mining mafia in Jharkhand, particularly moved by the plight of children involved in mining. He reassured that despite the parallel, Aadikeshava’s focus on this track would be brief and not preachy.
Also, Vaishnav Tej expressed confidence in his performance, dismissing concerns about being overshadowed by co-star Sree Leela. He credited his dedication to dance sequences, impressed by the output and commended Sekhar Master for it.
Discussing Aadikeshava’s potential, Vaishnav Tej highlighted the film’s powerful climax and praised the director’s vision in crafting intense fight sequences. Reflecting on his previous film, Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga, which faced challenges, he emphasized the collaborative nature of filmmaking and refrained from pinpointing specific faults. However, he expressed optimism about Aadikeshava’s success, confident in the collective efforts put into it.
