“Ustaad Bhagat Singh” is inspired by the superhit Tamil film “Theri,” but director Harish Shankar has assured fans that the story has been adapted to offer a fresh experience for Telugu audiences. Pawan Kalyan portrays the role of Bhagat Singh IPS, with Sreeleela as the female lead. The ensemble cast includes Ashutosh Rana, Nawab Shah, BS Avinash, Gauthami, Chammak Chandra, Giri, Naga Mahesh, Narra Srinu, and Temper Vamsi, among others.
The film is being produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banners, with a whopping budget of approximately Rs 150 Crore. Devi Sri Prasad is set to compose the background score and tunes, while Ayananka Bose and Chota K Prasad are handling cinematography and editing duties respectively.
