Around this time last year, AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy ordered the demolition of Chandrababu Naidu’s residence at Undavalli because it was an unauthorised structure. People vented their anger and pointed out many illegal buildings in the same area but none were touched. It was a clear act of vendetta. The same is being repeated in this case too. What Udhav Sarkar did was unlawful and the HC told BMC to file a reply to Kangana’s plea. The Bombay High Court on Wednesday admitted her plea against the demolition of her office at Mumbai by BMC and ordered a stay on the drive till 3 pm tomorrow when the court will next hear the matter. 
The bench headed by Justice SJ Kathawalla sought to know why did the city civic body enter the property when the owner was not present. and asked it to file an affidavit in response to the plea. Kangana’s lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui had earlier moved the HC against the notice issued by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for “illegal construction” at her Mumbai office. The plea had sought a stay on the demolition process. Meanwhile NCP chief Sharad Pawar questioned the action by the BMC. “There are a lot of illegal structures in Mumbai. Unnecessarily, by taking this action, an opportunity has been given & people will comment on it,” Sharad Pawar said.
