Even after two days the violence broke in Jawaharlal Nehru University campus, it left Twitterati in didvide with some supporting the Lefstist while other blaming the rest for the ruckus at the campus. #ABVP trended with 41K tweets and #SOSJNU with 17.3K tweets. A user micro-blogging site Twitter wrote: “Hindu Rashtra Dal”s Pinky bhaiya takes onus for #JNUTerrorAttack so dalli police lodges FIR against Aishe and the victims! Why are we not surprised…because Orange is the New Black!”
A post read, “#letsTakeOurCountryBack from separatist, opportunist, rioters and photo framed protest! let”s keep faith on people who have elected a govt. One user commented: “Violence is condemnable, irrespective of whichever side is behind it…this is 2020 and not Indira Gandhi”s Emergency rule…” “Don”t be a mute spectator and take strict action against whosoever are involved in this barbaric act.
