KA Paul, the evangelist who announced his party – Praja Shanti Party would be contesting the election, in a surprise turn of events has field television anchor Swetha Reddy against Hindupur MLA Balakrishna. Swetha will be having a face-off with Balakrishna for the Hindupur seat. On the other side, Lakshmi Tulasi, hailing from kapu caste, will be contesting on Praja Shanti Party ticket for Amalapuram.
