Turbo OTT:
Mammootty’s latest film Turbo is a blockbuster action thriller from Malayalam cinema released in 2024. Directed by Vysakh and written by Midhun Manuel Thomas, this film marks a significant collaboration between the megastar and the filmmaker after a long hiatus. Fans are eagerly anticipating its OTT release on Sony LIV, with the movie expected to be available for streaming by mid-July 2024.
Reports suggest that Turbo will premiere on Sony LIV on July 12th, 2024 potentially becoming available at midnight. While this date hasn’t been officially confirmed by Sony LIV or Mammootty Kampany, an official announcement is expected soon.

Initially released in Malayalam in May 2024, Turbo will also be available in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi on Sony LIV. This follows a growing trend of dubbing Malayalam movies into multiple languages for a broader streaming audience. Turbo will be the second Mammootty film to stream on Sony LIV in 2024, following the period horror thriller, Bramayugam.
Despite still being screened in major cities across Kerala, Turbo has achieved remarkable box office success, grossing over Rs 71 crores worldwide. However, collections in Kerala have dipped slightly due to the early arrival of the monsoon season.
Co-starring Anjana Jayaprakash alongside Mammootty, Turbo has generated significant interest. Fans are excited about the OTT release, eager to enjoy this action-packed thriller from the comfort of their homes.
