Vijay Deverakonda’s new film Dear Comrade released amidst a lot of hype last Friday. Vijay has promoted it heavily in the whole South India as the film was released in all the major South Indian languages. But despite all the hype and expectations, the film got a divided talk right from the first show.
Due to Vijay’s stardom, the film had a very good weekend as it earned about Rs. 19 crores shares in the first three days. But the collection dropped heavily in the working days. On Monday, the film managed to collect only Rs. 95 lakhs at the box office. Now, the distributors are tensed about the fate of the film.
We will know the film’s result within three more days. Meanwhile, Dear Comrade crossed $700k mark in the overseas. Directed by Bharat Kamma, this movie featured Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. It is bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers and Big Ben Cinemas.
