Top 4 performers of 2024:
The year 2024 has been a rollercoaster for Tollywood with only four Tier-1 stars releasing movies in theaters. Mahesh Babu began the year with Guntur Karam in January, followed by Prabhas in Kalki 2898 AD in June. Jr NTR joined the race with Devara in September and finally Allu Arjun ended the year with a bang in December with Pushpa 2.
Each of these films portrayed the actors’ strengths but when it comes to delivering a performance that left a lasting impression, Allu Arjun was a clear winner. His portrayal of Pushpa in Pushpa 2: The Rule was exceptional. Allu Arjun effortlessly embodied the rugged charm and intense persona of Pushpa capturing the audience’s attention with his powerful act.
On the other hand, Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Karam failed to create the expected impact. Despite Mahesh’s energetic dance moves and commendable effort, the film fell flat, primarily due to a weak script. Similarly Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD may have been a box office success, but his performance didn’t resonate with fans. Critics and audiences alike were disappointed with Prabhas facing significant trolling particularly after the film’s OTT release.

Jr NTR’s Devara showcased his acting prowess but it wasn’t his best work. While his performance was decent, it didn’t reach the heights of Allu Arjun’s gripping portrayal in Pushpa 2.

Overall, Allu Arjun’s act in Pushpa 2 outshined his peers, making him the undisputed best performer of 2024. His ability to elevate his character and connect with the audience set him apart. Tollywood audiences witnessed several memorable films this year but when it comes to a standout performance Allu Arjun was miles ahead of the competition.
