Raju, and Dil Raju in Tollywood by backing both small and big budget films through his production company, Sithara Entertainments. However, he is currently facing difficulties in setting release dates for his films due to the high number of ongoing productions in his company.
Naga Vamshi is also known for frequently changing release dates, and recent developments have made his situation even more complicated. For instance, the release date for “Aadikeshava” has been rescheduled to November 24, which is the fifth time it has been changed. The reason behind this decision is the ongoing cricket World Cup, which Naga Vamshi believes could affect the film’s collections. With people closely following the matches, especially because of the strong performance of the Indian team, he thought it wise to postpone “Aadikeshava” to November 24.
Another film, “Gangs of Godavari,” faced controversy when its lead actor, Vishwak Sen, expressed on social media that he would not promote the film if Naga Vamshi yielded to pressure from Nani and Nithin regarding the release date. Vishwak Sen warned against delaying the film’s release on December 8. However, Naga Vamshi argues that the film is not ready for a December 8 release due to pending work.
Furthermore, “Tillu Square,” a sequel to the popular “DJ Tillu,” was initially scheduled for release in September but has now been pushed to February 2024. Sithara Entertainments is grappling with similar challenges, including shooting delays and rushed release date announcements.
