Director Shankar and Super Star Rajinikanth teamed up for the third time for the film 2.0. It is the sequel of superhit 2010 film Robot. It is being made as an expensive film in Asia. The first look of the film was launched recently in Mumbai and it got a tremendous response all-over.
It is known that Bollywood star hero Akshay Kumar is playing as a villain in this film. Akshay’s presence will definitely pull the Noth Indian crowd to the theaters. Now, Shankar is planning to rope in a Tollywood star hero for a cameo in the film. Though Rajini has a massive following in Telugu states, Shankar feels that an inclusion of a local star hero will be an advantage. Apparently, makers are thinking of Megastar Chiranjeevi and Superstar Mahesh Babu for this role. Anyway, let’s wait for an official confirmation.
