Entering the film industry with a famous family name can open doors, but staying and thriving in the limelight is a different challenge altogether. Let’s take a closer look at some “nepokids” who can never become stars.
Varun Tej
He is the first hero to talk about. He has hits like Kanche, Fidaa, and F2. Those films are surely audience favorites. However, the issue is that they are director’s films; none of them bears Varun Tej’s distinctive mark. In fact, his acting lacks depth and individual expression. Currently, the actor is facing back-to-back disasters at the box office.
Allu Sirish
Allu Sirish, if not for being Allu Aravind’s son and Allu Arjun’s brother, would not even be suitable for side characters in films. Nevertheless, he persists by appearing in one movie after another. However, it would be better for the audience if he stopped making movies.
Vaishnav Tej
Vaishnav Tej, as a hero, lacks even facial expression. Besides being from the mega family compound, he has little else to offer. While his first film was a hit, there is little else commendable about this actor. He is also experiencing consecutive failures at the box office.
Akhil
Akhil, coming from the Akkineni family, raised high hopes as Nagarjuna’s son. However, poor script choices and lackluster performances have hampered his progress, leaving audiences disappointed and questioning his future prospects.
Abhiram
Abhiram, brother of Rana Daggubati, failed to make a mark with his debut film, “Ahimsa.” Critics and audiences alike found his acting lacking, casting doubts on his suitability for the industry.
While nepotism provides a foot in the door, success ultimately hinges on talent, hard work, and audience reception. These “nepokids” may have initial advantages, but their journey to stardom is far from guaranteed. Only time will tell if they can overcome the odds and carve out their own place in the spotlight.
