This Dussera season will be jam packed with the release of half dozen films. Ram’s Hyper has already hit the screens and got a hit talk all over. This week we have releases like Jaguar, Premam, Eedu Gold Ehe, Abhinetri and Mana Oori Ramayanam. Every year, mostly big heroes’ films used to release during this festive season. But the absence of any big hero’s film has opened gates for these films.
But if we see, apart from Premam and Eedu Gold Ehe, rest three can be called as semi dubbed films as they are bi-lingual films, so they cannot be called as straight Telugu films. Even for Diwali season, Karthi’s Kaashmora and Dhanush’s Kodi will get released in Telugu. Hence, this festive season will be mostly occupied by dubbed and semi dubbed films. This can seriously affect the revenue of straight Telugu films. Hence people in film circles are now asking film chambers to restrict the release of dubbed films in Telugu during festive seasons.
