Throwback when Ajith Kumar and Bala reportedly clashed in a hotel room

A few years ago, reports suggested that Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar and director Bala had a heated argument that led to a physical altercation. The incident reportedly took place in a hotel room when Ajith was initially cast for Bala’s critically acclaimed film Naan Kadavul

Ajith Kumar was the first choice for Naan Kadavul but he later left the project due to creative differences. According to reports, the disagreement escalated when Bala informed Ajith that he was considering another actor due to budget constraints. This upset Ajith, as he had already started preparing for the role.

Media reports at the time claimed that the discussion turned into a fight, with Bala allegedly hitting Ajith. However, Bala later clarified that while there were differences, no physical violence took place. He stated, “The rumors about an assault are false. Yes, we had disagreements, but there was no physical fight.”

Ajith Kumar chose to stay silent on the issue and has since maintained distance from Bala.

Currently, Ajith Kumar is preparing for his next big release, Good Bad Ugly directed by Adhik Ravichandran. The movie is set to release on April 10, 2025, and features Trisha Krishnan and Arjun Das in key roles. The teaser has already created excitement among fans showcasing Ajith in two distinct looks, hinting at a gripping storyline.

While media reports sensationalized the issue, Bala confirmed that the alleged hotel fight never happened. The controversy, however, remains a notable chapter in Ajith Kumar’s career. As the actor moves forward with his new projects, fans eagerly await his next big release.
