Three Superstars to join Vijay Deverakonda’s VD12
Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming movie tentatively titled VD12 is set to release its teaser on February 12, 2025. According to reports, Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor has recorded a voice-over for the teaser’s Hindi version, making it an exciting addition for fans. However, there is no official confirmation from the filmmakers yet.
A report suggests that Ranbir Kapoor completed the voice-over recording in Mumbai. If confirmed, this would mark a unique collaboration between Bollywood and South Indian cinema.

Additionally, Aakshavani reports that Tamil superstar Suriya and Telugu star Jr NTR might lend their voices for the teaser’s Tamil and Telugu versions respectively. However, this remains unverified by the movie’s team.
Directed by Jersey fame Gowtam Tinnanuri, VD12 is expected to be an intense spy thriller. Vijay Deverakonda is rumored to play a police officer, sporting a rugged look with short hair and a beard. Fans are eagerly awaiting the film, which was initially set for a March 28, 2025, theatrical release but may be postponed.
Vijay Deverakonda was last seen in The Family Star (2024), a romantic action drama directed by Parasuram. The film co-starring Mrunal Thakur, received mixed reviews and did not perform well at the box office. However, Vijay also made a cameo in Kalki 2898 AD, a big-budget sci-fi film starring Prabhas.
