Performances
Dhanush is a superb actor and such roles like these are a cakewalk for him. The way he owns the role of Thiru and gives an emotional performance is the best part of the film. Nithya Menen is also one asset and her role is etched so well that we emphasize her is shown well. Bharatiraja played a key role and he has some very endearing moments in the film with Dhanush. Analysis
The film is about a broken family and how all of them come to force when they are pushed into deep problems. The story is old but the way it is narrated in a heartwarming manner is the best part of the film. The director etches so many emotional moments between the lead actors that leave all the minus points behind.
Anirudh composed the music and his score is soothing. The simple lowe class setup, the mindsets of people, and their small issues have been shown so grippingly in the film. However, there is no novelty in the script as such family dramas are a dime and doze in the market.
But still, what makes things so interesting to watch is the presence of seasoned actors. No track be it romance or emotions is dragged and shown so well. The climax is moving and the issues shown in the first half are relatable. If you like Raghuvaran Btech, you will surely like this film as well.
Bottom Line –Endearing and emotional
