Remember the decorated thaali (plate) in the song Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gam wherein Jaya Bachchan holds one, in anticipation of someone loved coming home? Last night, Ranvir Shorey took a reference from it and how! Ranvir Shorey doesn’t agree with the veteran actress’ words that had been spoken in the Rajya Sabha against Kangana Ranaut.
Taking to Twitter on Wednesday night, the actor talked about the ‘insider vs outsider’ debate in his post. He made a reference to Bachchan’s ‘jis thaali mei khaate hai usi mei chhed karte hai’ comment and without naming anyone, said that they decorate ‘thaalis‘ (plates) for their children. (They decorate plates for their children. We are thrown away just leftover pieces. We pack our tiffin ourselves and go to work. Nobody has given us anything. These people couldn’t take away what we have. If it was in their power, they would have given it too to their own children.)
