THESE two superstars to join hands for Venky Atluri’s multi-starrer

Suriya and Dhanush, two of Tamil cinema’s biggest stars are rumored to be joining hands for a multi-starrer film. Fans have long awaited their collaboration and this news has created significant buzz.

According to reports, the project will be helmed by Venky Atluri known for his success with Lucky Baskhar starring Dulquer Salmaan. Titled Honest Raj, the film is expected to feature Dhanush as the main lead, while Suriya’s role might either be an extended cameo or a significant character. However, official confirmation is awaited.

Meanwhile, Dhanush is busy with his upcoming film Idly Kadai, where he stars alongside Nithya Menen. This marks his fourth directorial venture after Pa Paandi, Raayan, and NEEK. The film also features Shalini Pandey, Prakash Raj, and Arun Vijay in key roles. Interestingly, NEEK (Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam), initially set for release on February 7, 2025, has been postponed to avoid clashing with Suriya’s Vidaamuyarchi.

On the other hand, Suriya is gearing up for Retro, directed by Karthik Subbaraj, with Pooja Hegde as the female lead. The film also stars Joju George, Jayaram and others in prominent roles. Previously Suriya was seen in Kanguva which generated high expectations but failed to perform at the box office.

Fans eagerly await the official announcement of this exciting collaboration. If confirmed, the union of Suriya and Dhanush promises to be a milestone in Tamil cinema.
