THESE two malayalam actors under police probe in connection to gangster Omprakash?
Malayalam actors Sreenath Bhasi and Prayaga Martin are reportedly under police investigation due to their alleged involvement with notorious gangster KK Omprakash. The investigation stems from a recent incident where Omprakash and his associate Shihas, both involved in illegal activities, were arrested during a police raid in Kochi. This raid occurred just before a major event, Alan Walker’s music concert, on October 6, 2024. During the raid, the police found illegal substances, including drugs and alcohol, in Omprakash’s hotel room.
According to a report by OnManorama, the police are probing into the activities of Bhasi and Martin after discovering their possible connection to Omprakash. The actors allegedly visited the gangster’s hotel room on October 5, 2024, the night before the raid. This visit has placed them under the scanner, and the police are looking into phone records and other evidence that may link the actors to Omprakash’s illegal dealings.

The investigation into Omprakash began after the police received information about a planned drug deal related to the Alan Walker concert. Acting on this tip-off, they conducted a raid in a Kochi hotel where Omprakash and his associate Shihas were staying. The authorities found liquid drugs, cocaine residue, and over 4 liters of alcohol. Additionally, it was reported that a DJ party took place in one of the rooms on October 5, where Bhasi and Martin are believed to have been present.
The actors, along with around 20 other individuals, allegedly attended this party, raising suspicions about their involvement in Omprakash’s activities. The police are currently examining CCTV footage and other digital evidence to ascertain their presence at the scene. However, the police have not disclosed the full details of the footage or the evidence gathered from the mobile phones of the suspects.
Omprakash was arrested and initially taken into custody, but he was later released on bail. The court granted his bail after ruling that the quantity of drugs seized during the raid was not sufficient to charge him with serious drug offenses. This decision has caused some controversy, as many believe that the evidence collected was substantial enough to warrant stricter legal action.
As for Bhasi and Martin, the ongoing investigation has put their reputations at risk. Both actors have built notable careers in the Malayalam film industry, with Bhasi being recognized for his role in Manjummel Boys and Martin for her various film projects. The alleged connection to a criminal figure like Omprakash could have serious consequences for their personal and professional lives if proven true.
