Parasuram Petla has always bettered himself with every film, right from his first project Yuvatha. He knows for sure the commercial grammar of story telling and has never shown any sign of complacency in his execution or characterisation. Gita Govindam, his last story was a culmination of all his efforts to come up with a perfect script. He worked on it umpteen times and the effort showed at the box office. After the stupendous success of Gita Govindam, anyone in his place would want to move up the ladder with an actor from a higher slot.
It would have been unfair to confine him to mid range heroes. While the dilly dallying happened, Parusuram held his own and was confident he would get a suitable script for Mahesh. The official confirmation happened today and the industry fraternity are very happy for him. Mahesh too is expanding his horizon and the first move was to work with Vamsi Paidipally and Anil Ravipudi. Parusuram Petla falls in the category of directors who can pass a subtle message and also spin a commercial entertainer. This break comes to him at the right time. All his titles are good but Sarkar Vari Pata piques curiosity. Obviously it has to do with government auction or some big man’s deal.
“It is too early for me to say anything about the title but one thing is for sure, I couldn’t have found a better one. This is apt, 100 percent. No option. It has come out from the story and I learn fans are extremely happy with it. My previous title Gita Govindam was an expression that came from the relationship of Radha and Krishna. The hero and heroine have no contact, it was just aradhana and was a perfect title. This one too you will agree is the best,” he says.
