After trying a lot to rope in Kiara Advani and Pooja Hegde, director Ramesh Verma had settled for Raashi Khanna and Nidhi Agarwal. Ramesh Verma delivered a hit ‘Rakshasudu’ last year and has been looking to direct an original subject but A Studios offered him a remake of a hit Tamil subject that was liked by Ravi Teja instantly. These days, right from star heroes like Venkatesh to small heros are preferring remakes as it is seen as working out to be a minimum guarantee project.
Ravi Teja had already worked with Ramesh Verma in Veera. The film was a disaster but Ravi Teja is not the kind of actor who is overtly bothered with the failure track of a director. If he thinks a story is good, he will sign the project. A Studios is producing the film and the title in consideration is Khiladi. Ravi Teja will do the film once Krack is out. The technical team and the cast is yet to be announced, while we learn the pre production is in full swing
